← Testing This is one small task, about ten minutes. Answer each step - use Not applicable for one you could not try - and send it at the end. Your answers stay in this browser if you close the page.
Before you start what you need for this plan
- Get: the image for your Pi from the Raspberry Pi panel of the download page (autobleem.retromenele.pl): autobleem-<version>-rpi-armhf.img.xz (32-bit, recommended for PS1) or autobleem-<version>-rpi-arm64.img.xz (64-bit). Or add the channel's repository address to Raspberry Pi Imager (the panel lists them).
- You need: a Raspberry Pi 4 or 400 (a Pi 5 / 3 also works; a Pi 4 / 400 is the target), an SD card of 16 GB or more (it is erased), Raspberry Pi Imager 1.9 or newer, a screen, a keyboard or pad, a network for the first boot (cable or Wi-Fi).
- Say in every comment whether you tested the 32-bit or the 64-bit image and the Pi model. If you have both, run the plan twice.
- A PS1 game you legally own. No game and no BIOS is shipped; the emulator uses its built-in HLE BIOS unless you put your own into System/Bios/.
- Optional file autobleem.txt on the card's boot partition (before the first boot): samples=no (for the welcome-card section), retroarch=yes (for the RetroArch section).
- The first boot takes 5 to 25 minutes on its own; start it and do something else - it does not count in the section's minutes.
The whole plan for this device is also a printable PDF.
