← Testing This is one small task, about ten minutes. Answer each step - use Not applicable for one you could not try - and send it at the end. Your answers stay in this browser if you close the page.
Before you start what you need for this plan
- Get: AutoBleemFlasher-<version>.zip (Windows) from the PC panel of the download page (autobleem.retromenele.pl). On Linux / macOS: autobleem-<version>-pcusb-i386.img.xz and write it with dd or balenaEtcher.
- You need: a USB stick of 8 GB or more (it is erased), a PC that boots from USB - BIOS or UEFI, Secure Boot OFF - with a screen, a keyboard or pad, a network for the first boot. A Windows PC for the flasher. VirtualBox with the stick image also counts if you say so in the comment.
- A PS1 game you legally own. No game and no BIOS is shipped; the emulator uses its built-in HLE BIOS unless you put your own into System/Bios/.
- Optional autobleem.txt on the stick's first partition before the first boot: samples=no (welcome card section), retroarch=yes (RetroArch section).
- The first boot takes about 8 minutes with a wired network; it does not count in the section's minutes.
- Say in each comment which PC (model, BIOS or UEFI) you used.
The whole plan for this device is also a printable PDF.
